Neilson says “Word of Mouth is a powerful recommendation for Asians”

Walter and “Church of the Customer” pointed to a Neilson survey on media that people trust. In summary, two types of media stand out. These are:

  1. Traditional Media Advertising
  2. Word of Mouth

With regards to WOM advertising, Asia stands out strong with Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia leading the way.

  1. Word of Mouth advertising is not only the most trusted form of advertising but it is also the cheapest that anyone can get.
